ENHANCEMENT COMMITTEE
Chaired by Jonathan’s Landing Property Owners Association Board Member Sally Henn, the Enhancement Committee’s goal is to maintain an appearance throughout Jonathan’s Landing that is in keeping with the current times and adheres to the simple yet sophisticated style that is perceived throughout the JL community. The committee is currently focusing on updating the entrance signs as well as updating the wayfarer signs located inside the community.
LONG RANGE PLANNING & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Chaired by Jonathan’s Landing Property Owners Association Board Member David Fleming, the Long Range Planning and Community Development Committee have several goals in mind. The committee had been looking for ways of increasing communication to the residents of Jonathan’s Landing and felt that the development of a website would be an excellent means of communication. A ‘service directory’ has been published and developing an improved television channel is being considered. Other goals of the Committee will be to create a walking route and to be proactive in updating the look of the community. Mr. Fleming and the committee have discussed the need for a 10 – 20 year landscaping & design plan as the community is aging and is moving forward on this project. The Committee is also working on making JL environmentally friendly by looking into thermal heat for village pools and hybrid cars for the security staff when it comes time to replace those vehicles. Because the Long Range Planning Committee and the Enhancement Committee have the same goals in mind for JL, the two teams have combined. Along with David Fleming and Sally Henn, the members of the Committee include Ronda Brown, Heather Danneker, Pat Fenimore, Richard Halperin, Susan Holt, Carmine Muratore, Rosemary Onorato and Arthur Jacobs.
