It is my personal pleasure to introduce you to the Jonathan’s Landing Yacht Club. If you enjoy boating, cruising, fishing, time on the water and time with fellow boating enthusiasts I am sure you will find the activities and programs outlined here of great interest to you. JLYC represents a wonderful mix of very casual and formal events, cruising rendezvous’ and small boat day trips, on water activities and shore side social events. I look forward to meeting you.

The Program
Our typical seasonal calendar starts in early November with the Welcome Back Dinner Dance. In December we hold a Holiday Boat Parade, when generous boat owners invite members to cruise down the ICW with holiday lights blazing, followed by dinner. The Annual Meeting is held in January when the new officers are formally announced. In February we recognize our leadership at the formal Commodore’s Ball.
February through April gets us into the spring boating mood with a small boat cruises and multi-day rendezvous’ at great locations. Past trips have included Ocean Reef, Fisher Island, Hawk’s Key, St. Augustine, Captiva Island, Lucaya and Atlantis in the Bahamas.
The JLYC Women’s Auxiliary also schedules three to four special events each year.

An Invitation
Jonathan’s Landing Yacht Club (JLYC) is a boating, cruising, fishing and social membership organization. Established in 1990 the JLYC organizes and sponsors activities designed to appeal to boating enthusiasts who enjoy exciting fellowship with others of like interests. Membership requires the recommendation of a current member and a review of the application by the JLYC Membership Committee. Membership in the JLYC is a very special recognition of your interest in boating, commitment to the highest standards of yachting and ability to use and enjoy the amenities that the Club provides. Our Vice Commodore, or any member of the Board of Governors will be happy to discuss membership with you and answer your questions.
Jonathan's Landing Yacht Club is sponsoring free USCG approved vessel safety checks performed by a qualified vessel examiner for all JL boaters. An inspection assures that your boat meets safety standards and may qualify for a reduction in your insurance premium. Committed to safe and fun boating, the Yacht Club encourages all boaters to participate by calling Captain Ed Hoover at 743-8412 to schedule an appointment.
