GOLF CART REGISTRATION FOR NON-GOLF CLUB MEMBERS
The JL POA and JL Golf Club is requesting that all golf carts be registered and have a cart decal. To obtain a decal, have your insurance agent send you a Certificate of Insurance of cart coverage. Liability coverage must be no less than $300,000 listing JL Property Owners Association, Inc. as an additional interest. Please confirm that your cart has coverage for street use while on JL POA common area property. This may involve coverage under your homeowner's policy, your auto policy or a separate recreational vehicle policy. Click here to print out a copy of the JL POA registration form. Please fill it out and return it to the POA office along with your Certificate of Insurance and a decal will be issued. Please call the office if you have any questions.

RESIDENT BAR CODE DECALS FOR GATE ENTRY
The Security Department now offers all black decals which are less visible and more esthetically pleasing on cars with tinted windows. The cost for this decal is $10. Please see Allison Ackell at the North Gate, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 AM and 2 PM. As a reminder, the cost of the standard black and white decal is $5.
The JL POA has established a list of JL residents email addresses. Please email jlpoa3@comcast.net to be added to the list. We are asking for this information to be able to send alerts and important information that may be time sensitive. The email addresses will be kept confidential and not passed on to others.
GOLF CART SAFETY
Please be sure that there is always an adult in the golf cart when a young person is behind the wheel. We want to avoid dangerous situations and make sure no one gets hurt.
SECURITY REMINDER
Residents and guests are reminded to always lock their unattended vehicles and to remove items of value from view. Also, please be sure to lock your home and put on your alarm system even if you are leaving for a short time. JL residents are asked to take precautionary measures and to please report anything that may be out of the ordinary to Security immediately.

GOLF CART WASHING AREA
After receiving a request from several residents, a golf cart washing area has been set up at the South Rec near the restrooms.
The following individuals have agreed to serve as members of the Nominating Committee for the upcoming 2012 JLPOA Board of Directors election. If you are interested in running for a position on the Board of Directors, please contact any of the following to submit a resume and set up an interview.
Candidates will be announced between mid-January and early February.
Packets will be sent out to residents the week of February 20th.
Please consider being part of the JLPOA Board of Directors for 2012!
