HOME SECURITY

Part of the pleasure of living at Jonathan’s Landing is the peace of mind that comes with living in a gated community with a “small town” atmosphere.

There are three controlled access points into Jonathan’s Landing, each connected to a computerized security system.  In addition to the manned gates, Jonathan’s Landing maintains continuous radio-dispatched uniformed security patrols throughout the community 24 hours a day.  All patrol officers are regularly re-certified in CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) as well as in the use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) by on-site American Red Cross Certified Instructors. There are also two full-time American Red Cross advanced first aid trained and certified "First Responders" on staff.

A key element of Jonathan’s Landing security system is the in-house community WATCH system, a comprehensive security network that provides an around-the-clock warning system for residential intrusion, fire or medical emergencies.  The system activates alarms both in your home and at the security office, where the system is continually monitored for immediate response by our security staff. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and Jupiter Medical Center professionals are always only minutes away.

For our residents, custom modifications to the watch system in your home are available for more sophisticated features including additional window alarms, interior motion detectors, key pads, and exterior motion detectors.

Once activated, your WATCH System alerts Security any time an interior emergency button is pushed or any time a window or door is opened.  The smoke and heat detectors are also integrated into the system. You are advised to always secure the perimeter of your home before activating the alarm system and before leaving your home for any length of time. While our security staff immediately dispatches a security officer to your home upon receiving an alarm signal, you should always dial 911 first in the case of fire or medical emergency to expedite Palm Beach County Fire Rescue’s response time.
